Friday, January 27 through Sunday, February 12 - HairSpray

Hairspray delighted audiences by sweeping them away to 1960s Baltimore, where the ‘50s are out -- and change is in the air. Loveable plus-size heroine, Tracy Turnblad, has a passion for dancing, and wins a spot on the local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show." Overnight she finds herself transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. Step 1: Using permanent marker, trace around the DVD/CD onto laminate sheet. Mark a dot in the center. Cut out circle, making sure to cut inside the line (so that marker line is cut off), and cut center dot out. Use the tip of ...

Pancake and Sausage Muffins

This year one of my goals was to make more and buy less, at least when it comes to convenience foods. My kids love Pancakes on a Stick, a pancake wrapped around a breakfast sausage on a stick. I can't blame them, I love anything on a stick!

Since I couldn't figure out how to make those on a stick I turned them into muffins. They freeze great, just like the store bought kind, and you can make a ton at one time. Both bonuses for our busy ...
